You’ll enjoy a spacious living room, dining room, and master bedroom with its own private half-bath, plus a guest bedroom and separate full bathroom with tub and stall shower. Large French doors open from the dining area to a private enclosed back yard and gazebo perfect for outdoor entertaining, meals, or barbecue. The cheerful kitchen is fully equipped with new stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, overhead track lighting, and all cooking utensils, dishware, and silverware.

Located in the "WindanSea" beach area of La Jolla, PuertAzul is a five-minute walk to beautiful local beaches such as WindanSea known for surfing, Marine Street beach with its squeaky-clean sands, as well as a variety of small coves and beaches.

Also nearby are the broad beaches at La Jolla Shores, perfect for families and small children; the Scripps Institution of Oceanography; Birch Aquarium; University of California San Diego campus; Torrey Pines nature park; and the world-renown Torrey Pines Golf Course. PuertAzul is located close to the ‘village’ of La Jolla for convenient access to shopping, fabulous dining and nightlife along Prospect Street, and pleasant strolls along the seaside at the La Jolla Cove Park. All of this is just 20 minutes from the San Diego airport.

This is the perfect La Jolla Vacation Home for small families or groups, and it’s pet friendly too!

•No smoking is allowed inside any of our properties
•Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) does not have air conditioning.
•This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with SeaBreeze Vacation Rentals.
•Cleaning Fee's - Sea Breeze uses only legal housekeeping companies who are dedicated to paying a living wage and carry all legal insurances as required by law.

Wonderful home in Beautiful area

We loved our stay at Fern Glen. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking to the ocean every morning. Great restaurants nearby. The home is big and comfortable. My only complaint was there were no coffee filters! We will return.

At this time coffee filters and other kitchen provisions are not stocked by SeaBreeze. In some cases owners may choose to stock some items but that is at their individual discretion.

Great location. Multiple restaurants/coffee places are walkable. Wind and sea beach is just s short walk. House has a wonderful back yard and a nice open living area. We have young kids so the yard was perfect for playing and BBQ. Easy to rent and great costumer service. Would definitely rent again.

We have stayed at Puert Azul many times, and it never disappoints. The home is large and comfortable. And the big doors to the back patio open up to allow the inside and the outside to blend. The location is great - a short walk to multiple food and shopping options, as well as multiple beach options. Just a great place to relax!

The Perfect Beach House

For several years now we have spent our summer vacations in La Jolla and have rented various houses and apartments in July but this property was by far the best yet. The house was spacious, with doors that allowed for privacy by closing up and separating bedrooms and bathrooms from the living room and dinning room areas. The back yard was very spacious too. Perfect for entertaining friends and family. We are hoping to rent it again next year.

Comfortable, cozy & cute

We arrived late at night, and it was so nice to have the key in a lockbox and to just check in online. (Seabreeze even had an app for our iphone that had all the pertinent info, phone numbers, lock box combo, check in/out, etc.) The flowers and plants in front of the property were well-kept and beautiful. Entering the home, everything was clean and in order, and there was even a bouquet of real flowers for us, which was a nice touch. We felt very welcomed and also private, without anyone ever coming over unless we called and needed something. In general, this home was very clean and well-stocked with dishes, sheets, pillows, iron, heaters, and even a few toys for our 3 year old. When there was a small issue with heating (the pilot light went out), the property handyman came right over, was very friendly & also efficient. The house is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and some stores. We very much enjoyed our stay and would consider the property again in the future.

521 fern glen was a beautiful property and suited our needs as a family of 5 perfectly. The pictures on your web site do not properly reflect how charming and pretty the house and gardens are!! It was so spacious, spotlessly clean and bright and airy. The kitchen is a little dated but charming none the less. I loved the back garden which my boys loved playing soccer in and the flowers in the front garden were beautiful. Everything we needed was provided from towels to extra bed linen to hair dryer and shower essentials. The numerous guide books were extremely helpful too and the mini library provided some great reading material for the beach! One of our favorite restaurants was The Promiscuous Fork which is literally a 2 minute walk from the house - would recommend a visit to any future guests who don't fancy having to drive into la Jolla town center for one night!!! Thanks to everyone at Seabreeze for their help and advice before and during our stay which made our trip to La Jolla so enjoyable and memorable.

We were an extended family gathered to celebrate a graduation from UCSD for a long weekend in June and this property was very comfortable, old fashioned kitchen and baths but well maintained and just right for us. We especially loved morning coffee on the back deck and watching the stars at night. Also the beach is only two blocks away and we found several nice local restaurants within walking distance too.

We had an easy and comfortable vacation in this beautiful vacation rental. We were walking distance from beautiful beaches and had the benefit of being close to stores and restaurants in just blocks.

When we arrived to the house, we noticed there wasn't air conditioning- we were a little shocked- it was pretty warm in September. As we started the 20 fans in the house, the house cooled quickly. We did have some trouble getting a parking space on the weekends, however, during the week, we didn't have a problem. All in all, the house was clean, comfortable, and safe. It was central to everything and WindandSea Beach is gorgeous. We went to the grocery store- Von's- right down the road and cooked almost every meal in the kitchen the week we were there. The patio/backyard was wonderful--creating additional space for our 2 boys ages 9 and 6. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were small but we worked with it. My husband is 6'5 and had some trouble getting in and out of the shower. With all of the windows open and the fans running we were afraid to leave the house open to go on our excursions, but we did and had no problems. The only hiccup we had with our stay was at the San Diego Zoo, when our car was broken in to. That was a bummer. All and all, it was a wonderful trip, a great house, and some wonderful memories for our 2013 family vacation!

Feb/ March Visit

This home is very spacious, larger than we expected from the photos, and the fenced back yard is great. Only a small parking lot separates the house from LaJolla Blvd,so while in the yard,the street noise is considerable, but it is quiet inside the house. We were concerned about parking on the street, but had no problems, although summer guests may have more issues. The house was spotless and the kitchen well equipped, with the exception of no garbage disposal.
